VOTERS SPOKE. El DORADO HILLS COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT IGNORED THEM

In 2024, El Dorado Hills supermajorities of voters overwhelmingly passed Measures Q and S — lawful initiatives under California’s Proposition 218 (Constitution Article XII C & D) to repeal and refund unfair and illegal LLAD taxes in Promontory (LLAD 22) and Heritage (LLAD 39).

Instead of honoring the will of the people, El Dorado Hills Community Services District has refused to implement these measures — continuing to collect assessments that voters lawfully repealed. The Board has selected to impose new illegal assessments and refused to provide lawful refunds.

WHAT’S AT STAKE

• The Grand Jury investigation revealed misuse of funds qith fees diverted for the special interests of Board members.
• El Dorado Hills Community Services District spends hundreds of thousands of $$$ on legal fees to deny its citizens legal rights, rather than money on recreation programs for kids of all ages.
• The El Dorado Hills Community Services District Board continues unauthorized assessments, ignoring your vote.
• Annual taxes will grow unless the District is forced to comply with the law.
• The will of THOUSANDS OF VOTERS is overruled by FOUR Directors … only these four people defy a third of the El Dorado Hills registered voters.
• Trust and Respect for local government will continue to be tainted without a reversal of the El Dorado Hills Community Services District Board’s clandestine, self-serving, and abusive practices.
